Inspection Overview
A home cannot fail an inspection. A professional home inspection gives you
an independent, unbiased view of any problems and their solutions, so that you will have all the facts you need to make a
sound, informed decision.
The average single family home inspection will take two and one-half to three hours.
Larger homes, homes with outbuildings or older homes will generally take longer. Ideally, you will accompany your inspector
during the inspection, so that you will have visual reinforcement of your written report. At the end of the inspection the
inspector will thoroughly review his findings and give you the written report.
If you are unable to attend the
inspection our inspector will complete the inspection, forward the report to you or post it for you to download, and then
be available for a personal consultation via the phone when you have reviewed the report. We welcome “stand-ins
(Dad, sister, friend)” in the event you cannot attend.
We take our inspection reports seriously. Every inspection
is a complete and thorough analysis of all the major systems and components in the home. The report includes a clear description
of what we've found with any problem areas noted, so you can easily identify them. Our inspectors are available after
the inspection by telephone for questions.
